Multiplying Like Rabbits!

Good Morning, Stampers!

These sweet little Easter baskets were so much fun to create for my stamp class attendees this week!
The basket is not a new idea, but I did alter the size to make them fit these little Hershey bunnies.
The NEW Basket Weave embossing folder from Sale-A-Bration is the perfect fit for the base of the basket!

To Create the Basket:
1. Cut the Chocolate Chip cardstock to 3" x 3".
2. Score at 1" & 2".
3. Turn the square and score again at 1" & 2".
4. Snip on the red lines.
5. Emboss the piece using the Basket Weave embossing folder.
6. Bring up each side and secure to the center with a staple to form the basket.

7.. Cut a 1/2" x 7 1/2" strip of Chocolate Chip cardstock to form the handle.
8. Adhere the handle to the inside of the basket to secure.
9. Tie a bow in the ribbon. Secure the ribbon to the side of the basket with hot glue.
10. Fill and enjoy!

Paper: Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Basket Weave embossing folder, Hot Glue, Stapler, Assorted ribbons

I think coming up with a layout for a card is the hardest part
and having a sketch really helps get the project going!

I grabbed the Climbing Orchid stamp set for this card.
It hasn't seen much ink lately and I decided to give it
a little love! I forgot just how beautiful these flowers are!
By following the sketch, the elements just fell into place!
Stamps: Climbing Orchid

This week in my Weekly 3/$5 Card Classes, we are creating Masculine cards. Guy cards always seem to be the hardest to create, but the Epic Celebrations stamp set from Sale-A-Bration has great images making it easy to create cards for boys! I added the Sheet Music background stamp using a mask from the circle framelit. If you would like to join me for one of these classes this week, email be directly for dates, times and locations. We make (3) quick and easy cards in under an hour for just $5!

CCMC Saturday Blog Hop - Shades of Green

Good Morning, Stampers!

We are "seeing green" for this week's Create with Connie
and Mary Saturday Blog Hop!

I turned my Garden Girl into an Irish Lass Garden Girl
for this week's challenge! I kept the background black and white
and just colored the girl with a few pops 'o color using a blender pen.

I don't usually send out St. Patrick's Day cards, but this
could be used throughout the month of March for a
birthday or a special little note to a friend.
Stamps: Garden Girl, Wood Words
Ink: Archival Basic Black, Tangerine Tango, Lemon Lime Twist, Garden Green, Chocolate Chip,
Powder Pink
Paper: Whisper White
Accessories: Blender pen
